The Learning & Talent Administrator provides administrative support to Learning and Talent unit and manages part time bursars programme to ensure staff development is effective.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
 
  • Communication - ensures learning and development programmes are communicated to Divisions
  • Human capital development programmes: part-time bursary programme - confirms study/service obligations to payroll when employees exit
  • Human capital development programmes: arranges and implements all learning interventions in collaboration with Skills Development Committee; aligned with Mintek's Human Capital Development Strategy
  • Human capital development programmes: part-time bursary programme - deals with defaulters in an accurate and on-time manner; debt collection
  • Human capital development programmes: part-time bursary programme - ensures accurate and on-time payments to universities and staff
  • Human capital development programmes: part-time bursary programme - uploads and updates Mintek part-time bursary forms on intranet
  • Human capital development programmes: part-time bursary programmes - maintains accurate and updated bursary statistics and files
  •  Networks with internal clients and external stakeholders on human capital initiatives, to remain relevant and keep them fully informed on requirements
  • Queries and complaints management - handles student queries and complaints regarding part-time bursary programme
  • Reports - compiles human capital development reports
  • Learning & Talent - administer the nominations, attendance as well as record keeping of training interventions
  • Learning & Talent- compiles and prepares training materials for in-house courses
  • Learning & Talent- ensures proper filing of supporting documents for Audits
  • Learning & Talent- issues all certificates of training attended aligned with attendance register
  • Learning & Talent- monitors that training requisitions are approved and training attended
  • Learning & Talent- processes payments for training of staff


Minimum requirements

 
  • Min 1- 3 years relevant experience (Required)  
  • Preferred: 3- 5 years relevant experience  
  • Degree (Human Resources) or similar (Required)  
  • Honours  (preferred)
